Types of Passes

There are 1st class versions for individual travelers (Adult) and for groups of 2 or more people traveling together (Saver Pass). For travelers under 26 years of age, there is a 2nd class pass available at a discounted rate (Youth Pass):

• The Eurail Austria - Switzerland Saver Passes offer 1st class rail travel within Austria and Switzerland for 4 to 10 days within 2 months. The Saver Pass is valid for 2 or more people traveling together and gives a discount on the price for the individual travelers.

• The Eurail Austria - Switzerland Youth Pass offers 2nd-class rail travel within Austria and Switzerland for 4 to 10 days within 2 months. Youth Passes are exclusively for those who are under 26 years old on the first day of validity of their Pass.
